1) Each participating team will be required to submit 7 names and the team must be selected from names submitted.
2) Matches will be played on a SIX-A-SIDE up to the final level; each team will consist of 6 players.
3) 5 Over’s of 6 balls each will have to be bowled per inning. Please note the person assigned as the wicket keeper at the commencement of a match is not permitted to bowl. If a match ends in a tie – a toss of a coin will decide the winner.
4) The assigned wicket keeper is required to continue in that capacity for the whole duration of a match. The wicket keeper can only change in the event of an injury. However, the player assigned as wicket keeper can change from one match to the other.
5) “No ball” and “Wide ball” will be counted as 1 runs to the batting side and additional ball will have to be bowled. As per the RULES of INTERNATIONAL CRICKET
6) In case of bad weather, delays, or any other reason affecting the conducting of the tournament, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to decide the manner in which the tournament should be conducted.
7) The Tournament Committee shall decide on all matters outside the jurisdiction of the umpires.
8) Tennis balls will be provided by the Tournament Committee.
9) The Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify teams that use players from outside of the nominated team sheets. In case of a protest, teams should be able to submit Identity cards and relevant documentation to prove that no outside player has participated in the tournament.
10) If a Team is absent at the time of the tossing the team that is present will receive a walk over. Please note that teams should be present at all times on the playing pitch assigned to them prior to the commencement of the tournament.
11) The decision of the Organizing Committee on any matter pertaining to this tournament will be final.
12) All Participating Teams should report to the officials at the Main Table at the Grounds by 09.30AM 23rd JUNE 2024
